İzzettin Başkaynak came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by KÖM UNITED's Yıldırım Ruçhan. But to his dismay, Yıldırım Ruçhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. İzzettin Başkaynak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yıldırım Ruçhan in the 16th minute of play. Zülfikar Tecik hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Yıldırım Ruçhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. İzzettin Başkaynak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Kadir Sabuncuoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. İnanç Kırdar hit a great ball. İzzettin Başkaynak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ensar Şiraz went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Atalan Tacal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bahtiyar Dölek made the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Orhan Uğuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Baki Usare having to interfere. KÖM UNITED's İskender Baki Usare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Orhan Uğuz in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Bahtiyar Dölek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İzzettin Başkaynak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İzzettin Başkaynak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerif Işınbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Kadir Sabuncuoğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahtiyar Dölek in the 72nd minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper İzzettin Başkaynak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tevfik Baysal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Şerif Işınbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İzzettin Başkaynak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abuzer Özgunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Baki Usare having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Orhan Uğuz in the 87th minute of play forced KÖM UNITED's goalkeeper İskender Baki Usare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
