Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 100) Gökçek Kuman made the kick off and thus started the match. Yaman Kongur hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Gökçek Kuman took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvinho Dionísio. Silvinho Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to MERZİFON SPOR getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hüsmen Adaş hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Gökçek Kuman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkant Aydoğdu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvinho Dionísio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Ulvi Onul fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of MERZİFON SPOR booed when Afyonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaman Kongur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ulvi Onul managed to get in a good position for a shot. MERZİFON SPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulvi Onul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cemil Salar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvinho Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkant Aydoğdu in the 28th minute of the match. Yalçın Üstay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Afyonspor's goalkeeper Cemil Salar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yalçın Üstay. Türkeş Sayar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Yalçın Üstay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ulvi Onul took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Cemil Salar to make any attempt to save it. Yalçın Üstay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökçek Kuman in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvinho Dionísio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ulvi Onul made the kick off in the second half. Ulvi Onul took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cemil Salar. Cemil Salar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, MERZİFON SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçek Kuman came free, but Silvinho Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes, Yalçın Üstay made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Afyonspor's Cemil Salar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, MERZİFON SPOR's Cahit Başkaynak got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gökçek Kuman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Afyonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökçek Kuman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Başar Okkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ulvi Onul came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the MERZİFON SPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulvi Onul couldn't finish the play. If Ulvi Onul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yalçın Üstay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Salar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulvi Onul in the 84th minute of play forced Afyonspor's goalkeeper Cemil Salar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Ulvi Onul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MERZİFON SPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Başar Okkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Silvinho Dionísio made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the MERZİFON SPOR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
