Bayhan Sendur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fazıl Hüsnü Safih read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ZiğdiSpor's zone, Ahmet Nedim Esraf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fazıl Hüsnü Safih came out of the goal and Ahmet Nedim Esraf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bilecik SK's Bayhan Sendur got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bayhan Sendur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Ahmet Nedim Esraf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fazıl Hüsnü Safih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Ahmet Nedim Esraf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bilecik SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Ahmet Nedim Esraf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilecik SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Nedim Esraf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Bayhan Sendur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fazıl Hüsnü Safih. ZiğdiSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bayhan Sendur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Ahmet Nedim Esraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fazıl Hüsnü Safih came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Bilecik SK's Ahmet Nedim Esraf. But to his dismay, Ahmet Nedim Esraf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Feyyaz Tansoy's late challenge caught a Bilecik SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feyyaz Tansoy helped the player get up and apologised. Feyyaz Tansoy hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fazıl Hüsnü Safih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nedim Esraf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes of play, Bilecik SK's Ahmet Nedim Esraf made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fazıl Hüsnü Safih was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The audience was convinced that Bayhan Sendur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fazıl Hüsnü Safih was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When Oğuzhan Tuncel came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Bilecik SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuzhan Tuncel couldn't finish the play. Bayhan Sendur got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-8 in the right cross in the 73rd match minute before Fazıl Hüsnü Safih had time to react. Zeynel Uygu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the ZiğdiSpor defense, Bayhan Sendur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fazıl Hüsnü Safih. The ZiğdiSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fazıl Hüsnü Safih should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Nedim Esraf was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Bilecik SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for ZiğdiSpor. Devran Aksakal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Batıhan Mahmut. 1-10. When the match was over Bilecik SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ZiğdiSpor throughout the match.
