Kirecburnu SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. In the 21st minute, Kadri Akhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes Kirecburnu SK got a freekick which was hit by Okan Kınık. Doğuş Yaygır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merih Kayrahan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cavit Sezal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Merih Kayrahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merih Kayrahan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Cavit Sezal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

2-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Doğuş Yaygır elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğuş Yaygır in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cavit Sezal saved Kirecburnu SK from getting behind. After 61 minutes of play, GALATASARAY's Merih Kayrahan made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cavit Sezal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doğuş Yaygır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cavit Sezal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Doğuş Yaygır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Merih Kayrahan made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kirecburnu SK's Cavit Sezal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baybora Uruç hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Şanver Ergüven kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Onurhan Temircan made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Behram Demirtuğ sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Kirecburnu SK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Yunus Oğuzman hit a great ball. When Merih Kayrahan came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Merih Kayrahan couldn't finish the play.
