Kağan Girgin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tolunay Vecihi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yusufeli's goalkeeper Tolunay Vecihi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Yusufeli booed when Acipayam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerim Taymaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Özgün Canol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yusufeli's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgün Canol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murat Selim Tanalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İzzet Sümre in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Murat Selim Tanalp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yusufeli's Tolunay Vecihi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Numan Uğuş in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Numan Uğuş in the 29th minute of play forced Yusufeli's goalkeeper Tolunay Vecihi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kağan Girgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolunay Vecihi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kağan Girgin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İzzet Sümre to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Yusufeli's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Numan Uğuş came free, but Tolunay Vecihi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yusufeli's Tolunay Vecihi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Yusufeli from getting a goal against them. When İzzet Sümre came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Yusufeli fans jumped to their feet. The crowd rose to their feet as Ali Numan Uğuş kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tolunay Vecihi. That made the score 0-2 in the 68 minute of play.
