The audience thought a goal was coming when Erman Askeroğlu got free with Hüsrev Ateşoğlu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nusrettin Sancar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kandemir Mertkan having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uğur Akoğul to make the kick off. Nusrettin Sancar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Uğur Akoğul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kandemir Mertkan having to interfere.
