Necaettin Tutku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Mustafa Hakan Vacit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denizhan Bayman kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Dündar Özerk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cemal Hekimhanlı hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Necaettin Tutku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alkın Sekib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cumali Çelebioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Seyfi Özay made a huge save. Ali Berkant Bozoğluer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfi Özay having to interfere. Ondokuzmayis FK's Seyfi Özay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denizhan Bayman in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Necatibey booed when Ondokuzmayis FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejat Serir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Ondokuzmayis FK's goalkeeper Seyfi Özay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cumali Çelebioğlu. Cumali Çelebioğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Seyfi Özay could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ondokuzmayis FK's Nejat Serir got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mustafa Hakan Vacit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Necatibey fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Necatibey's Ali Berkant Bozoğluer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Dündar Özerk came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ondokuzmayis FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dündar Özerk couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dündar Özerk made a kick off. Hulusi Evcimen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Necatibey got a freekick which was hit by Denizhan Bayman. After some careless play in the Ondokuzmayis FK defense, Cumali Çelebioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seyfi Özay. The Ondokuzmayis FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seyfi Özay should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Ondokuzmayis FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Necatibey:s goal. Talha Karluk placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Denizhan Bayman came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Necatibey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denizhan Bayman couldn't finish the play.
