Japon Askeri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Egemen Sonalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galya FC's zone, Erenay Açıkalın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkan Akbaş came out of the goal and Erenay Açıkalın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Galya FC's Volkan Akbaş got control of the ball when Ahmet Sedat Eraksan tried to sneak it across the goal line. İlyas Irmak scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Behiç Çetinoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Volkan Akbaş was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Sedat Eraksan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 45 minute of play.

In the 52nd match minute, Galya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Akif Ergüden to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Galya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erenay Açıkalın came free, but Volkan Akbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, one of Galya FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Galya FC.
