The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Pride's goal looked a bit too open when Alican Atasan came free, but Mustafa Barış Başhekim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Pride defense, İlyas Irmak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Barış Başhekim. The Pride fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Barış Başhekim should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Galya FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. İlyas Irmak hit a great ball. With his leg Volkan Akbaş managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Pride's Azmi Özduran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galya FC's goalkeeper Volkan Akbaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Pride's goal looked a bit too open when İlyas Irmak came free, but Mustafa Barış Başhekim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Galya FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Adem Karataş hit a great ball. Vecdet Turgut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkan Akbaş having to interfere. If Azmi Özduran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pride's Azmi Özduran got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pride's Mustafa Barış Başhekim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nusrettin Talayer in the 45th minute of play. Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Azmi Özduran was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Pride got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Hakkı Uğuralp. Aşık Tamerk, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mustafa Barış Başhekim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nusrettin Talayer in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Pride got a freekick which was hit by Vecdet Turgut. Volkan Akbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azmi Özduran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Azmi Özduran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İlyas Irmak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mustafa Barış Başhekim firmly grabbed it by the left post. Volkan Akbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azmi Özduran in the 76th minute of play. Pride's Azmi Özduran got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Azmi Özduran sped through Galya FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Volkan Akbaş. When Azmi Özduran came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pride fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azmi Özduran couldn't finish the play. Azmi Özduran scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Volkan Akbaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Nusrettin Talayer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Barış Başhekim. Pride's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nusrettin Talayer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
