Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ertaç Akbayrak in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özgün Yazıcı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kilyos FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Erhun Oktan hit a great ball. Güner Toktimur got in the 22nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Özgün Yazıcı handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 24thth minute of the game Güner Toktimur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilyos FC's Özgün Yazıcı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Güner Toktimur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltalimani's Vágner Løve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Baltalimani from getting a goal against them. Ertaç Akbayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ertaç Akbayrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kilyos FC's zone, Ertaç Akbayrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özgün Yazıcı came out of the goal and Ertaç Akbayrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Güner Toktimur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Baltalimani booed when Kilyos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Nabi Sidar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Özgün Yazıcı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güner Toktimur in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhun Oktan in the 55th minute of play forced Baltalimani's goalkeeper Vágner Løve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özgün Yazıcı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Güner Toktimur's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Özgün Yazıcı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertaç Akbayrak in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Kilyos FC's Özgün Yazıcı got control of the ball when Ertaç Akbayrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ertaç Akbayraks short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Özgün Yazıcı to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güner Toktimur in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özgün Yazıcı saved Kilyos FC from getting behind. 80 minutes into the game, Kadir Kaptan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baltalimani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilyos FC the free kick. In the 80th minute, Kadir Kaptan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ertaç Akbayrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Özgün Yazıcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ertaç Akbayrak in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Özgün Yazıcı, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Baltalimani players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
