The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hüseyin Can Kirmanşah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uluç Sabahaddin having to interfere. Orçun Serkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Orçun Serkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uluç Sabahaddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th play minute Sadri Orkutay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ahmet Hamdi Ilgınlı. 1-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Derman Ekemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HeRo SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derman Ekemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orçun Serkan in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uluç Sabahaddin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Karacabey JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gazanfer Tunca to maneuver through the defense. Uluç Sabahaddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orçun Serkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HeRo SK's Uluç Sabahaddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Can Kirmanşah in the 31st minute of play. Derman Ekemen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Atilla Tarkan Kudret shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uluç Sabahaddin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Orçun Serkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Uluç Sabahaddin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uluç Sabahaddin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orçun Serkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Hakkı Onur Tapık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hamdi Ilgınlı having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orçun Serkan got free with Uluç Sabahaddin in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Can Kirmanşah in the 57th minute of play forced HeRo SK's goalkeeper Uluç Sabahaddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Sadri Orkutay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karacabey JK's Ahmet Hamdi Ilgınlı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Sadri Orkutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hamdi Ilgınlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orçun Serkan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Uluç Sabahaddin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Hüseyin Can Kirmanşah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uluç Sabahaddin was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Sadri Orkutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ahmet Hamdi Ilgınlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karacabey JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
