Mutlu Yakup's late challenge caught a Marmaris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mutlu Yakup helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Mutlu Yakup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mümtaz Alptekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergen Mengücek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Fenerbahçe F.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Paşa Ali Çalapover hit a great ball. Marmaris's Sancarbey Yetkin got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Marmaris got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Davut Baytüze. In the 32nd minute Artun Sureha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behlül Sarıalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Marmaris's Mümtaz Alptekin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergen Mengücek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Sancarbey Yetkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe F.C's Sergen Mengücek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fenerbahçe F.C's Sergen Mengücek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sancarbey Yetkin in the 72nd minute of play. Mümtaz Alptekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Marmaris were the better team. Marmaris's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
