Cemal Hürkan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Halil Saner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. çilimlispor's Ender Çokman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesur Başaydın in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, çilimlispor's goal looked a bit too open when Aşık Tuğaltan came free, but Ender Çokman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience held their breath when İlhami İzzettin in the 31st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ender Çokman's left hand side. But to his dismay, Aşık Tuğaltan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as çilimlispor's Ilgaz Öktürk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edip Velican. That made the score 1-1 after 40 minutes of play. ERKİLETSPOR's Edip Velican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Öktürk in the 45th minute of play. çilimlispor's Alkın Tanzer got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for çilimlispor.
