The referee ignored çilimlispor's protests and gave Saruhan Topdemir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, çilimlispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saruhan Topdemir to maneuver through the defense. Cabbar Turalp didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when çilimlispor's Alkın Tanzer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ilgaz Öktürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cabbar Turalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilgaz Öktürk made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Talat Tengiz notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of çilimlispor's Ender Çokman. Ender Çokman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baran Bilge Necati kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ilgaz Öktürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hani getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nadir Şikel hit a great ball. 90 minutes in the game, Alkın Tanzer dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ender Çokman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talat Tengiz in the 94th minute of play. Haldun Zağanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ender Çokman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haldun Zağanos ran back to his position shaking his head. The çilimlispor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing çilimlispor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
