Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Latif Saye kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Erdemli booed when Ceylanpinar Gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüknettin Mirza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Erdemli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayındır Candeğer to maneuver through the defense. Alper Giryar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bahadır Yıldız tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Gencer Koçarslanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bora Tuncal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alper Giryar in the 25th minute of play forced Erdemli's goalkeeper Bahadır Yıldız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüknettin Mirza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Ceylanpinar Gücü's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Koçarslanoğlu in the 29th minute of play forced Ceylanpinar Gücü's goalkeeper Bora Tuncal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Başar Karadağ kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Güral İstanbul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Ceylanpinar Gücü's goal looked a bit too open when Latif Saye came free, but Bora Tuncal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Latif Saye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bora Tuncal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erdemli's Gencer Koçarslanoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rüknettin Mirza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Erdemli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdi Mehmet Acaroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Bahadır Yıldız made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Rüknettin Mirza sent off a good shot on target. The Ceylanpinar Gücü players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Erdemli were winning 0-1.

Rüknettin Mirza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadır Yıldız having to interfere. Bora Tuncal was a little too slow when Emran Uruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Erdemli's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Giryar came free, but Bahadır Yıldız reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdemli's Bahadır Yıldız played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alper Giryar in the 79th minute of play. Bahadır Yıldız made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüknettin Mirza in the 80th minute of play. Latif Saye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahadır Yıldız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüknettin Mirza, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rüknettin Mirza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadır Yıldız having to interfere. In the 89th minute Alper Giryar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Yıldız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rüknettin Mirza came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ceylanpinar Gücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rüknettin Mirza couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Erdemli eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
