Arif Pektaşi scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bora Tuncal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ceylanpinar Gücü's Rüknettin Mirza came free and shot a quick shot against goal 9 minutes in the game, fortunately Kürşat Erginsoy had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 12 minutes into the match, 1922 Konyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Giryar came free, but Kürşat Erginsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Seyit Ungur managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1922 Konyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyit Ungur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bora Tuncal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes of play, 1922 Konyaspor's Arif Pektaşi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bora Tuncal was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Arif Pektaşi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Ceylanpinar Gücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Necdet Ustam to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, 1922 Konyaspor's Kürşat Erginsoy got control of the ball when Rüknettin Mirza tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Akmanoğlu in the 39th minute of play forced 1922 Konyaspor's goalkeeper Kürşat Erginsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hakkı Akmanoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kürşat Erginsoy. That made the score 2-2 in the 40 minute of play. Rüknettin Mirza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Kürşat Erginsoy made a huge save. Hakkı Akmanoğlu scored 3-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kürşat Erginsoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

1922 Konyaspor's Kürşat Erginsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüknettin Mirza in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Necdet Ustam in the 61st minute of play forced 1922 Konyaspor's goalkeeper Kürşat Erginsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Alper Giryar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kürşat Erginsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kürşat Erginsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alper Giryar in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to 1922 Konyaspor getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Seyit Ungur hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, 1922 Konyaspor's Seyit Ungur got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Kürşat Erginsoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güral İstanbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Arif Pektaşi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bora Tuncal having to interfere. Hakkı Akmanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Arif Pektaşi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1922 Konyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Pektaşi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Alper Giryar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kürşat Erginsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ahmet Tolga Özyay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alper Giryar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kürşat Erginsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alper Giryar in the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Ceylanpinar Gücü's Rüknettin Mirza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kürşat Erginsoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2.
