Bedih Safir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Mehmet Ediz Sermet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bedih Safir. FC Atmaca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Ediz Sermet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 17 played minutes FC Atmaca got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selimhan Koç. In the 18thth minute of the game Mehmet Ediz Sermet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Atmaca's Bedih Safir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 1922 Konyaspor's Arif Pektaşi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bedih Safir. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Refik Samet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kürşat Erginsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Atmaca's zone, Mehmet Ediz Sermet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedih Safir came out of the goal and Mehmet Ediz Sermet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Mehmet Ediz Sermet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bedih Safir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ediz Sermet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necati Sarih during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Mehmet Ediz Sermet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ediz Sermet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes FC Atmaca got a freekick which was hit by Mert Sezgin. In the 64th minute, Mehmet Ediz Sermet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute of the match Ahmet Tolga Özyay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedih Safir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Tolga Özyay during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Tolga Özyay kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The 1922 Konyaspor fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when 1922 Konyaspor's Mehmet Ediz Sermet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th minute, Mehmet Ediz Sermet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of 1922 Konyaspor booed when FC Atmaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarp Vahapoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Mehmet Ediz Sermet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Atmaca's Bedih Safir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1922 Konyaspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
