Tuncay Yarlık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necat Esir having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Zonguldak SK's goal looked a bit too open when Seçkin Nurbay came free, but İslam Yamanöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zonguldak SK's Hüseyin Can Yanaç shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Necat Esir but with some difficulty. In the 32nd minute, Seçkin Nurbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İslam Yamanöz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Seçkin Nurbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, one of Zonguldak SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zonguldak SK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuncay Yarlık got free with Necat Esir in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karahan Başesgi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Necat Esir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karahan Başesgi in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Zonguldak SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Can Yanaç to maneuver through the defense. Seçkin Nurbay struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seçkin Nurbay got free with İslam Yamanöz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Poyraz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karahan Başesgi came free, but Necat Esir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Seçkin Nurbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nedim Ufuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İslam Yamanöz having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Zonguldak SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hasan Kutlug. 94 minutes into the match, Karahan Başesgi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necat Esir. Poyraz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karahan Başesgi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The Zonguldak SK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
