Hidayet Bintuğ charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hidayet Bintuğ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hidayet Bintuğ hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidayet Bintuğ in the 5th minute of play forced 1922 Konyaspor's goalkeeper Kürşat Erginsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vehdi Balatekin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Mehmet Ediz Sermet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1922 Konyaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Yüksekova FK's zone, Arif Pektaşi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baykan Taran came out of the goal and Arif Pektaşi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Tolga Özyay kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Sinan Sadan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ejder Candaner's late challenge caught a 1922 Konyaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ejder Candaner helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yüksekova FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! A collision led to 1922 Konyaspor getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mehmet Ediz Sermet hit a great ball. Mehmet Ediz Sermet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When 1922 Konyaspor's Mehmet Ediz Sermet in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yüksekova FK's goalie prevented a goal. Baykan Taran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Saygın Açıker in the 32nd minute of the match. Sinan Sadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kürşat Erginsoy having to interfere. Arif Pektaşi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Baykan Taran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baykan Taran came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by 1922 Konyaspor's Mehmet Ediz Sermet. But to his dismay, Mehmet Ediz Sermet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Ediz Sermet to make the kick off. In the 58th minute of the match Akay Aymaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kürşat Erginsoy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Ediz Sermet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baykan Taran was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Ediz Sermet got free with Baykan Taran in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baykan Taran didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. If Abdi Saygın Açıker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Baykan Taran managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when 1922 Konyaspor's Mehmet Ediz Sermet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mehmet Ediz Sermet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Ediz Sermet might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baykan Taran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Ediz Sermet ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Ediz Sermets short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Baykan Taran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mehmet Ediz Sermet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Baykan Taran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
