Ceylanpinar Gücü's Bora Tuncal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şahap Beyzade in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute, Hakkı Akmanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Ekmek Spor's Ali Galip Özaltan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ahmet Necdet Ustam hit a great ball. The supporters of Ekmek Spor booed when Ceylanpinar Gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güral İstanbul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atak Bağış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ali Galip Özaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bora Tuncal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Edip Yiğit in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ekmek Spor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ceylanpinar Gücü had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
