Baykan Taran went to the wrong direction when Kerimhan Tunçkaya was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Baykan Taran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necati Sarih, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hidayet Bintuğ in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bedih Safir saved FC Atmaca from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Yavuz Selimhan Koç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Atmaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yüksekova FK the free kick. When Yüksekova FK's Hidayet Bintuğ in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of FC Atmaca booed when Yüksekova FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sungurbey Bardakçıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Necati Sarih made a precise shot to the right of Baykan Taran. Yüksekova FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Necati Sarih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Hidayet Bintuğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
