Baykan Taran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tuncay Yarlık went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Hasan Kutlug during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Ahmet Hasan Kutlug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dündar Akburak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zonguldak SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karahan Başesgi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baykan Taran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artun Bedi in the 46th minute of the match. The Yüksekova FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zonguldak SK were winning 0-2.

In the 53rd minute, Yıldırım Safvet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zonguldak SK's İslam Yamanöz didn't even have to move. Ejder Candaner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for İslam Yamanöz. Zonguldak SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Hasan Kutlug kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hidayet Bintuğ in the 79th managed to get into a good position. After 85 played minutes, Yüksekova FK's Ejder Candaner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İslam Yamanöz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yüksekova FK reached it. The supporters of Yüksekova FK booed when Zonguldak SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gani Özaktuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Yüksekova FK's Dündar Akburak in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zonguldak SK's goalie prevented a goal. After 94 played minutes Zonguldak SK got a freekick which was hit by Artun Bedi.
