DARDANELLES's Ayhan Sorgun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ogün Onurad in the 16th minute of play. If Radomir Sikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Muradiye JK's goalkeeper Arkın Peker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolek Cipinski. Ayhan Sorgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balaban İbrahimoğlu in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ogün Onurad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muradiye JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ogün Onurad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayhan Sorgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tolek Cipinski came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the DARDANELLES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolek Cipinski couldn't finish the play. If Tolek Cipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomir Sikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Arif Coşkunsu to make the kick off. The corner led Muradiye JK's Emrullah Neşat to fire away a dangerous shot which Ayhan Sorgun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tolek Cipinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkın Peker having to make a save. In the 76th minute Tolek Cipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkın Peker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayhan Sorgun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The DARDANELLES supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Muradiye JK's performance. The match ended with a win for Muradiye JK.
