Saruhan Kutlar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Çağdaş Volkan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Bahtiyar Dolunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turan Gündüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Yavuzeli FK's Saruhan Kutlar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadır Baransel in the 11th minute of play. Bahadır Baransel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahadır Baransel in the 14th minute of play forced Yavuzeli FK's goalkeeper Saruhan Kutlar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Saip Beşer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahtiyar Dolunay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, GALATASARAY A.Ş's Çağdaş Volkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saruhan Kutlar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Hamza Uzay fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yavuzeli FK's protests and gave Hamza Uzay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Hamza Uzay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GALATASARAY A.Ş's Bahadır Baransel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saruhan Kutlar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Selim Umut in the 31st minute of play. Turan Gündüz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bahtiyar Dolunay having to make a save. Saruhan Kutlar made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Çağdaş Volkan sent off a good shot on target. If Turan Gündüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Yetkin Cenap mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY A.Ş and the Yavuzeli FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Yavuzeli FK booed when GALATASARAY A.Ş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yetkin Cenap didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by GALATASARAY A.Ş's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zühtü Torehan was slow to take the kick. During this time Yavuzeli FK's players had a chance to rest. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bahadır Baransel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Efe Vedatoğulları fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahtiyar Dolunay having to interfere. Hamza Uzay kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Temel Uluğ, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 70 minutes of play Yavuzeli FK's Hamza Uzay was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 70th minute, Hamza Uzay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Çağdaş Volkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY A.Ş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağdaş Volkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Bahadır Baransel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yavuzeli FK's Saruhan Kutlar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of GALATASARAY A.Ş booed when Yavuzeli FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlualp Baykal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saip Beşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahtiyar Dolunay having to interfere. Saruhan Kutlar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağdaş Volkan in the 87th minute of the match. Bahadır Baransel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saruhan Kutlar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When Yetkin Cenap was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 91st match minute, GALATASARAY A.Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yetkin Cenap to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY A.Ş's zone, Saip Beşer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahtiyar Dolunay came out of the goal and Saip Beşer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 minutes, Turan Gündüz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yavuzeli FK and the GALATASARAY A.Ş players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yavuzeli FK's Turan Gündüz got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yavuzeli FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GALATASARAY A.Ş.
