Ciftehavuzlar's Ahmet Çağrı Burçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türker Tokyay in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Efe Şahvar in the 24th minute of play forced Kocaelispor's goalkeeper Orbay Ugraş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rahim Türkeş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Efe Şahvar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rahim Türkeş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orbay Ugraş having to interfere. Kocaelispor's Orbay Ugraş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Efe Şahvar in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Kocaelispor getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cengiz Yıldırımtürk hit a great ball. When Mehmet Efe Şahvar came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ciftehavuzlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Efe Şahvar couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Kocaelispor's Orbay Ugraş got control of the ball when Mehmet Efe Şahvar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rahim Türkeş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orbay Ugraş was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the match was over Ciftehavuzlar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kocaelispor throughout the match.
