Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Homra's Volkan Can started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Rahim Türkeş got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Mehmet Efe Şahvar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciftehavuzlar's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Efe Şahvar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menderes Şanalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Homra booed when Ciftehavuzlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Alp Tufan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Arif Ensar Özgeer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Çağrı Burçhan skillfully saved the ball. Ahmet Çağrı Burçhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volkan Can, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Rahim Türkeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Menderes Şanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Rahim Türkeş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Menderes Şanalp. Rahim Türkeş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orkun Uçkan during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Homra got a freekick which was hit by Orkun Uçkan. Mehmet Efe Şahvar charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Efe Şahvar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rahim Türkeş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciftehavuzlar's supporters rose to their feet, but Rahim Türkeş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 22nd minute Volkan Can shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Çağrı Burçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baran Alp Tufan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Ciftehavuzlar got a freekick which was hit by Baran Alp Tufan. In the 28th minute, Rahim Türkeş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rahim Türkeş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Volkan Can managed to get in a good position for a shot. Homra's supporters rose to their feet, but Volkan Can was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Çağrı Burçhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Efe Şahvar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Menderes Şanalp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Homra's Volkan Can got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Ciftehavuzlar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuddusî Durukan to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Mehmet Efe Şahvar struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Menderes Şanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciftehavuzlar. Ciftehavuzlar's Ahmet Çağrı Burçhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ciftehavuzlar from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mert Alptekin during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ciftehavuzlar getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mert Alptekin hit a great ball. If Mehmet Efe Şahvar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Müfit Mukremin's late challenge caught a Ciftehavuzlar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Müfit Mukremin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Müfit Mukremin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mehmet Efe Şahvar came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ciftehavuzlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Efe Şahvar couldn't finish the play. Rahim Türkeş might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Menderes Şanalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rahim Türkeş ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Homra getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Abdülhak Özdoğru hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ciftehavuzlar's Arif Çelebi Yıldız tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Müfit Mukremin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Homra's zone, Mehmet Efe Şahvar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menderes Şanalp came out of the goal and Mehmet Efe Şahvar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Efe Şahvar in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Menderes Şanalp saved Homra from getting behind. When Abdulkadir Kınık fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Homra's protests and gave Abdulkadir Kınık a yellow card for diving instead. Abdulkadir Kınık hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciftehavuzlar's goalkeeper Ahmet Çağrı Burçhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciftehavuzlar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
