Orçun Suheyl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Orçun Suheyl put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Savaş Suerdem. Yavuz Selimhan Baler hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Canakci's Müfit Akkanoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Oğuz Tansan. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Müfit Akkanoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avrupa Yakası FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canakci the free kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Avrupa Yakası FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
