Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuh Ocakçı started the match with the kick off. Sertel Hallaçoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haşmet Hürsev in the 4th minute of play. Sertel Hallaçoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuh Ocakçı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Haşmet Hürsev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 played minutes Yeni Malatyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Seyit Özgenalp. 15 minutes into the match, Yeni Malatyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Haşmet Hürsev came free, but Sertel Hallaçoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Erdem Sarıalp hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Kurtulus's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Mücahit Elçin came free, but Alican Sonay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nihat Yoruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yeni Malatyaspor's Sertel Hallaçoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşmet Hürsev in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Nuh Ocakçı notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yeni Malatyaspor's Sertel Hallaçoğlu. Sertel Hallaçoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Yeni Malatyaspor's Karadeniz Ünek got a free kick in the 35th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anıl Mücahit Elçin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuh Ocakçı in the 56th minute of play forced Yeni Malatyaspor's goalkeeper Sertel Hallaçoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yeni Malatyaspor's zone, Haşmet Hürsev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sertel Hallaçoğlu came out of the goal and Haşmet Hürsev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alican Sonay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nihat Yoruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Sertel Hallaçoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuh Ocakçı went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nuh Ocakçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sertel Hallaçoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karadeniz Ünek hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Yeni Malatyaspor's Sertel Hallaçoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Yeni Malatyaspor from getting a goal against them. If Haşmet Hürsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alican Sonay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Mücahit Elçin in the 80th minute of the match. Haşmet Hürsev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Hallaçoğlu having to interfere. Nuh Ocakçıs short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Sertel Hallaçoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Karadeniz Ünek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Yeni Malatyaspor's Sertel Hallaçoğlu got control of the ball when Haşmet Hürsev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Canbulat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sertel Hallaçoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurtulus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
