Spectators: 7155 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ersin Yöner started the match with the kick off. The supporters of TRABZONSPOR booed when Come To Besiktas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızhan İstikbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, TRABZONSPOR's Şerif Suer got control of the ball when Yüksel Altıparmak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şerif Suer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yüksel Altıparmak's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Tümer Özdoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şaban Dölek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Naim İzhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şaban Dölek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 25 played minutes Come To Besiktas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ziya İltemir. The long shot by Melih Beşir in the 31st minute really tested Şerif Suer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. TRABZONSPOR's Şerif Suer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save TRABZONSPOR from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Yüksel Altıparmak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Come To Besiktas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yüksel Altıparmak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şerif Suer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, TRABZONSPOR's Nusret Boğatekin got a free kick in the 40th minute. Yüksel Altıparmak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerif Suer having to interfere. Yüksel Altıparmak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Yüksel Altıparmak made the kick off in the second half. Şerif Suer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yüksel Altıparmak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes TRABZONSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yağızhan İstikbal who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Yağızhan İstikbal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TRABZONSPOR's Şerif Suer did a great save. Şerif Suer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yüksel Altıparmak, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Şaban Dölek came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by TRABZONSPOR's Ersin Yöner. But to his dismay, Ersin Yöner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yüksel Altıparmak in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şerif Suer saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. Gafur Tutuş hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Altıparmak in the 71st minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Şerif Suer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yağızhan İstikbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şaban Dölek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersin Yöner, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When TRABZONSPOR's Ersin Yöner in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Come To Besiktas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Şaban Dölek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merih Şabi in the 85th minute. If Yüksel Altıparmak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's Ersin Yöner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şaban Dölek narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
