The BaTMaN PéTRoL SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Recep Talha Balatürk should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, BaTMaN PéTRoL SK's İsa Baysan got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Arif Çelebi Hacılar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BaTMaN PéTRoL SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 18th match minute, BaTMaN PéTRoL SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nebi Harmancı to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of BaTMaN PéTRoL SK booed when Kurtulus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selim Övünç didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nuh Ocakçı came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Kurtulus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuh Ocakçı couldn't finish the play. İsa Baysan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Haşmet Hürsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denizhan Baykal's late challenge caught a Kurtulus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haşmet Hürsev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Recep Talha Balatürk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nuh Ocakçı might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Recep Talha Balatürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuh Ocakçı ran back to his position shaking his head. Recep Talha Balatürk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 46th minute Nuh Ocakçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Talha Balatürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Recep Talha Balatürk made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Haşmet Hürsev sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hüseyin Cahit Gürgen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İsa Baysan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Mustafa Hakan Canbulat came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kurtulus fans jumped to their feet. Recep Talha Balatürk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuh Ocakçı in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Recep Talha Balatürk saved BaTMaN PéTRoL SK from getting behind. Recep Talha Balatürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşmet Hürsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 71 played minutes BaTMaN PéTRoL SK got a freekick which was hit by Denizhan Baykal. 88 minutes into the match, BaTMaN PéTRoL SK's goal looked a bit too open when Haşmet Hürsev came free, but Recep Talha Balatürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Kurtulus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
