Gafur Azimoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Göztepe's Şentürk Peker got control of the ball when Aysan İşçen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alemdar Karasu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Emir Ergün went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Göztepe booed when Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Haydar Terzioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alemdar Karasu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazım Ogansoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Mehmet Çağrı Kahya fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 31 played minutes Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Çağrı Kahya. In the 39th minute, Kuzey Tunçsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aysan İşçen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şentürk Peker having to interfere. Şentürk Peker made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Aysan İşçen sent off a good shot on target. Aysan İşçen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Şentürk Peker made a huge save. A collision led to Göztepe getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Abbas Denizhan hit a great ball. Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR's Aysan Uzlet couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Göztepe. After the first half Göztepe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gafur Azimoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alemdar Karasu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazım Ogansoy in the 56th minute. Göztepe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abbas Denizhan in the 60th minute. Abbas Denizhan made a great header on Göztepe's corner, it was just that Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR's Alemdar Karasu managed to reach the ball for a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aysan İşçen couldn't finish the play. Alemdar Karasu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dursun Demiralp in the 96th minute of play. Nazım Ogansoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Karasu having to interfere. Göztepe's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
