Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Müjdat Özalp started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Ataman Nedim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şahin Uralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Vahdet having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Ataman Nedim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kecierengücü's Süleyman Tayguner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kecierengücü's Süleyman Tayguner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataman Nedim in the 13th minute of play. Kovancilar were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Kecierengücü's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Özgür Berksan took the corner. Süleyman Tayguner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataman Nedim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ataman Nedim in the 17th minute of play forced Kecierengücü's goalkeeper Süleyman Tayguner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Müjdat Özalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Güral Vahdet came out and tried to block the shot, but Müjdat Özalp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Abdi Saygın Süngü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Vahdet having to interfere. Mehmet Çağrı Dalmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Kecierengücü's Abdi Saygın Süngü got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Süleyman Tayguner came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Kovancilar's Ataman Nedim. But to his dismay, Ataman Nedim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abdi Saygın Süngü's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Güral Vahdet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ataman Nedim to make the kick off. Şahin Uralp hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes in the game, Tevfik Engiay dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Abdi Saygın Süngü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Güral Vahdet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Erdem Onatkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kovancilar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kecierengücü the free kick. A collision led to Kovancilar getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Erdem Onatkan hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Müjdat Özalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şahin Uralp hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Süleyman Tayguner came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Kovancilar's Tevfik Engiay. But to his dismay, Tevfik Engiay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 75th minute, Tevfik Engiay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Müjdat Özalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güral Vahdet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Müjdat Özalp ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Kovancilar's Tevfik Engiay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Süleyman Tayguner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kovancilar's Güral Vahdet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müjdat Özalp in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Kovancilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vecdet Sönmezalp to maneuver through the defense. Ataman Nedim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süleyman Tayguner having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Saygın Süngü in the 94th minute of play forced Kovancilar's goalkeeper Güral Vahdet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kovancilar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
