In the 16th match minute, Eynesil SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beşir Titiz to maneuver through the defense. Aysan Uzlet, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alkan Uraltay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alemdar Karasu having to make a save. Eynesil SK's Yağızalp Bartu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alemdar Karasu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Yağızalp Bartu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eynesil SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağızalp Bartu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR's goalkeeper Alemdar Karasu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aysan İşçen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Alkan Uraltay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eynesil SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkan Uraltay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alemdar Karasu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atahan Macit's late challenge caught a Eynesil SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atahan Macit helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, one of Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR. The goalkeeper, Alemdar Karasu, was totally fooled by Eynesil SK's Raşit İhtişam, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The long shot by Sacit Hürkan in the 42nd minute really tested Alemdar Karasu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 43 minutes, Turgut Şanlı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR and the Eynesil SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Kayseri ERCİYESSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turgut Şanlı to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 69th minute of the match Semih Kahveci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alemdar Karasu skillfully saved the ball. Eynesil SK's Sermet Sadri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Eynesil SK from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, Eynesil SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Azimoğlu came free, but Sermet Sadri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gafur Azimoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sermet Sadri. That made the score 1-1 in the 85 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Eynesil SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Azimoğlu came free, but Sermet Sadri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eynesil SK's Sermet Sadri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Azimoğlu in the 91st minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
