Kovancilar's Güral Vahdet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güner Isfahanlı in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halis Temizkan during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Kovancilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halis Temizkan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Güner Isfahanlı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atasehir JK's goalkeeper Baha Süvari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güral Vahdet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Kovancilar's zone, Güner Isfahanlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güral Vahdet came out of the goal and Güner Isfahanlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baha Süvari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ataman Nedim in the 76th minute of the match. Ataman Nedim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baha Süvari having to interfere. Baha Süvari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tevfik Engiay in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ataman Nedim in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baha Süvari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 played minutes Atasehir JK got a freekick which was hit by Ogün Enfal. 87 minutes into the game, Arcan Boztepe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kovancilar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atasehir JK the free kick. Arcan Boztepe hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Ahmet Nedim Mutlutekin from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Güral Vahdet's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 93 minutes into the game, Kovancilar's Tevfik Engiay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baha Süvari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
