The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Kılıçhan Hatipoğlu put in a rough tackle. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yenifakili JK! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Maslak. Baran Şehzade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bora Sidar. 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Yenifakili JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruhi Hattat to maneuver through the defense. Baran Şehzade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bora Sidar. Yenifakili JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maslak's Necdet Pekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Maslak from getting a goal against them. Tacettin Karanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Pekin having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Maslak's goalkeeper Necdet Pekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tacettin Karanalp. After having played for 22 minutes, Tacettin Karanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yenifakili JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tacettin Karanalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maslak fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Yenifakili JK booed when Maslak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediz Ilımlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veli Onay hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tacettin Karanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Pekin having to interfere. Tacettin Karanalp struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Necdet Pekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenifakili JK. Yaşar Nuri Payam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Necdet Pekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tacettin Karanalp to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Maslak got a freekick which was hit by Ecevit Peyam. Tacettin Karanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Yenifakili JK a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ruhi Hattat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maslak's Necdet Pekin. 2-1. Ecevit Peyam charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ecevit Peyam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Maslak got a freekick which was hit by Ecevit Peyam. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tacettin Karanalp in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necdet Pekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Reşat Durukan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tacettin Karanalp in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necdet Pekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Abdulaziz Hikmettin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bora Sidar, 2-2. In the 72nd minute Abdulaziz Hikmettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Sidar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Baran Şehzade in the 78th minute really tested Bora Sidar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fahri Bilginer's late challenge caught a Yenifakili JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fahri Bilginer helped the player get up and apologised. Fahri Bilginer kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Necdet Pekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tacettin Karanalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necdet Pekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yaşar Nuri Payam's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Maslak's Baykam Oğuzbay got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 86 minutes of play, Yenifakili JK's Tacettin Karanalp made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Necdet Pekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tacettin Karanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necdet Pekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tacettin Karanalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yenifakili JK had played much better football throughout.
