After 17 played minutes, Maslak's Baran Şehzade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Süleyman Tayguner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maslak reached it. The supporters of Kecierengücü booed when Maslak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturhan Alptekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Abdi Saygın Süngü could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Necdet Pekin however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Müjdat Özalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necdet Pekin was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
