Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ataman Nedim started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ataman Nedim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kovancilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Ataman Nedim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bedir Taykara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 8 minutes, Ataman Nedim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovancilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ataman Nedim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedir Taykara was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Ataman Nedim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ataman Nedim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Arcan Boztepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedir Taykara having to interfere. The supporters of Kovancilar booed when Yamanlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bekir Mevlit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özgür Berksan shot a long shot in the 33rd minute and a light blocked Bedir Taykara hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. Tevfik Engiay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bedir Taykara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedir Taykara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ataman Nedim in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Kovancilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Çağrı Dalmaz to maneuver through the defense. Sabri Hacısalihoğlu, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ataman Nedim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bedir Taykara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataman Nedim, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ataman Nedim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedir Taykara having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yamanlar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The Kovancilar fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Kovancilar's Özgür Berksan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 77 played minutes, Kovancilar's Vecdet Sönmezalp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bedir Taykara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kovancilar reached it. If Tevfik Engiay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bekir Mevlit hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ataman Nedim struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bedir Taykara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovancilar. Bedir Taykara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ataman Nedim in the 95th minute of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Tevfik Engiay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovancilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tevfik Engiay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kovancilar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
