Mutlu Baş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feyyaz Canver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mutlu Baş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berke Arınç's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Battal Seyyit Aydoğdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mutlu Baş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Geyve were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sabahattin Saraçoğlu made the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Geyve could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seyitobaspor throughout the match.
