The corner ended in Tolga Keçecioğlu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ötüken SK's Şadi Özveren did a great save. Şadi Özveren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuncay Demiralp in the 19th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Ötüken SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gercüs:s goal. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Gercüs's Tolga Keçecioğlu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Şadi Özveren. Şadi Özveren made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Sinan Hızarcı sent off a good shot on target. Tuncay Demiralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şadi Özveren having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Sinan Hızarcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gercüs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinan Hızarcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Tuncay Demiralp took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Şadi Özveren to make any attempt to save it. Şadi Özveren made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sinan Hızarcı sent off a good shot on target. In the 41stth minute of the game Tuncay Demiralp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ötüken SK's Şadi Özveren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şadi Özveren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuncay Demiralp's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When Onuralp Egin fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ötüken SK's protests and gave Onuralp Egin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ötüken SK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Onuralp Egin hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuncay Demiralp was the one to do the kick off. Atay Öksak's late challenge caught a Ötüken SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atay Öksak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Atay Öksak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuncay Demiralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şadi Özveren having to interfere. The supporters of Gercüs booed when Ötüken SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kartal Delioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ötüken SK's goalkeeper Şadi Özveren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Şadi Özveren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinan Hızarcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuncay Demiralp in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şadi Özveren saved Ötüken SK from getting behind. In the 81st minute of the match Gercüs got a corner. Ötüken SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolga Keçecioğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tuncay Demiralp charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tuncay Demiralp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gercüs's Tuncay Demiralp got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute Tuncay Demiralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şadi Özveren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Ötüken SK's goal looked a bit too open when Sinan Hızarcı came free, but Şadi Özveren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Demiralp in the 94th minute of play forced Ötüken SK's goalkeeper Şadi Özveren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gercüs had played much better football throughout.
