Güngör Deren started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Marmaris spor's İlmi Yetik got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Güngör Deren's late challenge caught a TrabzonluGençler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güngör Deren helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TrabzonluGençler booed when Marmaris spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedai Hurmacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayyam Hekimhanlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Şehzat in the 14th minute of play. Bahadırhan Seyfeddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Bahadırhan Seyfeddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Marmaris spor's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Şehzat came free, but Hayyam Hekimhanlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marmaris spor's Hayyam Hekimhanlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samir Şehzat in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute Güngör Deren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçe Gümüşcü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökçe Gümüşcü didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Güngör Deren went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Güngör Deren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marmaris spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Güngör Deren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökçe Gümüşcü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samir Şehzat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hayyam Hekimhanlı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahadırhan Seyfeddin in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Samir Şehzat made the kick off in the second half. Hayyam Hekimhanlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aşık Seyfullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahadırhan Seyfeddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahadırhan Seyfeddin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayyam Hekimhanlı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Marmaris spor's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Şehzat came free, but Hayyam Hekimhanlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th play minute Fedai Hurmacı came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gökçe Gümüşcü. 0-2. Samir Şehzat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hayyam Hekimhanlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahadırhan Seyfeddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bahadırhan Seyfeddin managed to get in a good position for a shot. TrabzonluGençler's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahadırhan Seyfeddin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marmaris spor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
