Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Beşiktaş's Gökçen Tun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Saltuk Yarlık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullah Sergen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdullah Sergen came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Mucur's Ayberk Atasagun. But to his dismay, Ayberk Atasagun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Mucur getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lütfi Uzhan hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökçen Tun to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Abdullah Sergen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ayberk Atasagun. The supporters of Mucur booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkan Ertaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Bahattin Tokhan in the 23rd minute really tested Abdullah Sergen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Abdullah Sergen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lütfi Uzhan in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Saltuk Yarlık came free, but Abdullah Sergen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Ayberk Atasagun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mucur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After having played for 42 minutes, Gökçen Tun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçen Tun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdullah Sergen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saltuk Yarlık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gökçen Tun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beşiktaş's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökçen Tun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bedih Koray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saltuk Yarlık was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Ayberk Atasagun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullah Sergen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdullah Sergen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saltuk Yarlık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gökçen Tun had several of the Mucur's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-2 score and a disappointed Bedih Koray as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gökçen Tuns short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Bedih Koray to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The long shot by Mirkelam Şahinter in the 68th minute really tested Bedih Koray's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Özen Turcan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 77 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 86 minutes of play, Mucur's Saltuk Yarlık made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdullah Sergen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdullah Sergen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfi Uzhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfi Uzhan came free, but Abdullah Sergen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdullah Sergen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saltuk Yarlık in the 92nd minute of the match. Gökçen Tun struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Bedih Koray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş.
