İSPİR FK's Rıfat Özden got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pars Çokay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taci Ganim, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Pars Çokay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rıfat Özden showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Turgay Sarih made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turgay Sarih in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sakut Uyarel saved İSPİR FK from getting behind. After a rather tough play, İSPİR FK's Latif Keskin got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Turgay Sarih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtik's supporters rose to their feet, but Turgay Sarih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakut Uyarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70thth minute of the game Turgay Sarih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but İSPİR FK's Sakut Uyarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
