Aureliusz Karbowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bayezit Rafiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliusz Karbowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Kusadasi SK's Atabek Dağhan got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bayezit Rafiz came out and tried to block the shot, but Aureliusz Karbowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 82nd minute.
