In the 7th minute Cahit Sayraç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Numan Yula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Mazhar Öztek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Calpspor's Korkut Ünan. Korkut Ünan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th match minute, Calpspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökay Şenol to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Orhan Seyfi Saltık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Numan Yula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Gökay Şenol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igdir's Ali Numan Yula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orhan Seyfi Saltık in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Numan Yula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Numan Yula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cahit Sayraç in the 35th minute. Orhan Seyfi Saltık hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Suavi Esentürk to strike the kick off in the second half. Ali Numan Yula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cahit Sayraç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calpspor's Korkut Ünan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Calpspor from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes, Igdir's Durmuş Mirac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Korkut Ünan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Igdir reached it. Orhan Seyfi Saltık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Igdir's zone, Kubat Paşa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Numan Yula came out of the goal and Kubat Paşa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Calpspor booed when Igdir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birkan Urkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suavi Esentürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Numan Yula came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Calpspor's Orhan Seyfi Saltık. But to his dismay, Orhan Seyfi Saltık quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3.
