The audience thought a goal was coming when Boğaç Çokay got free with Abdulmelik İmge in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Aykutalp Tezalp notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of İstanbul FC's Abdulmelik İmge. Abdulmelik İmge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of İstanbul FC booed when AKİNESPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykutalp Tezalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tümer Lokman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faruk Kavaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Atabek Abay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The İstanbul FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AKİNESPOR's performance. The match ended with a win for AKİNESPOR.
