Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Macit Akgül started the match with the kick off. Güray Tuğtekin took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aygün Muammer. Aygün Muammer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Erzurumspor JK's Şahin Kavi got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Baltalimani's Macit Akgül dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ahmet Kağan Ocak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macit Akgül, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Kağan Ocak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güray Tuğtekin struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Aygün Muammer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzurumspor JK. Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macit Akgül in the 24th minute of the match. Ahmet Kağan Ocak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reşat Asır during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reşat Asır kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Macit Akgül managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baltalimani's supporters rose to their feet, but Macit Akgül was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Kağan Ocak struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baltalimani. After 37 minutes, Gürcan Algın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baltalimani and the Erzurumspor JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Baltalimani fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Altuğ Serimer made a kick off. Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Hamdi Tunçhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Baltalimani's Baha Erbelgin tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Macit Akgül received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Erzurumspor JK's Altuğ Serimer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aygün Muammer. That made the score 1-4 after 60 minutes of play. During the 68th minute of the match Reşat Asır completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Reşat Asır a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 69th match minute, Erzurumspor JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reşat Asır to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Macit Akgül sped through Erzurumspor JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer. If Macit Akgül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macit Akgül in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. İdris Haylaz's late challenge caught a Baltalimani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İdris Haylaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Baltalimani. Baha Erbelgin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mustafa Emrah Sağlamer. 3-4. After a rather tough play, Erzurumspor JK's Yavuzalp Zeynur got a free kick in the 96th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Kağan Ocak in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The Erzurumspor JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Erzurumspor JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
