The Kahta fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Kahta's Abdulkerim Zeyni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. İsmet Tunçkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulkerim Zeyni in the 16th minute of play. Alper Uğurlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Korcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kahta's Alper Uğurlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Korcan in the 20th minute of play. Ahmet Yahya Ceberut charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Yahya Ceberut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Sapanca JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Yahya Ceberut. If Mustafa Korcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Suat Kuddusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suat Kuddusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İsmet Tunçkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulkerim Zeyni, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Korcan made a kick off. Abdulkerim Zeyni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Kahta's Suat Kuddusi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İsmet Tunçkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Mustafa Korcan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sapanca JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Korcan couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Mustafa Korcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alper Uğurlu. Kahta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Korcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. İsmet Tunçkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulkerim Zeyni in the 68th minute of the match. İsmet Tunçkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Suat Kuddusi in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Reha Kutcan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alper Uğurlu saved Kahta from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erdeniz Uludoğan during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute Abdulkerim Zeyni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmet Tunçkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alper Uğurlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Korcan in the 80th minute of play. İsmet Tunçkan made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Suat Kuddusi sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Sapanca JK's İsmet Tunçkan got control of the ball when Suat Kuddusi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Suat Kuddusi made a precise shot to the right of İsmet Tunçkan. Sapanca JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Suat Kuddusi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but İsmet Tunçkan made a huge save. When the match was over Kahta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sapanca JK throughout the match.
