Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fırat Akar started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Kadiköy's Mehmet Akif Sargın threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erdinç Hatemoğlu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reşat İlcan got free with Mehmet Akif Sargın in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kadiköy's Erdinç Hatemoğlu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 7 minutes into the game, Erdinç Hatemoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Akif Sargın. Erdinç Hatemoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Kadiköy's Reşat İlcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Akif Sargın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gürsel Beytekin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Erdinç Hatemoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Sargın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sem United F.C.'s Güray Sabuncu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdi Doğanten kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sem United F.C.'s Engin Bilgetürk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kadiköy. Zeki Sidar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fırat Akar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mehmet Akif Sargın was a little too slow when Erdinç Hatemoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 40th minute Erdinç Hatemoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Sargın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Reşat İlcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kadiköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reşat İlcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Erdinç Hatemoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kadiköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Erdinç Hatemoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Akif Sargın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sem United F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Doğaner Namdar hit a great ball. Zeki Sidar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fırat Akar's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Mehmet Akif Sargın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdinç Hatemoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Güray Sabuncu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zeki Sidar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahri Çetinel charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahri Çetinel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Güray Sabuncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeki Sidar having to interfere. Reşat İlcan struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Mehmet Akif Sargın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kadiköy. The audience was convinced that Erdinç Hatemoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Akif Sargın was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. If Erdinç Hatemoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 79 played minutes Sem United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Güray Sabuncu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdinç Hatemoğlu in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Akif Sargın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tolga Onkal during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sem United F.C. booed when Kadiköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Onkal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reşat İlcan scored 5-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Akif Sargın, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kadiköy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
