When Şemsettin Aşkın came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Merinos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şemsettin Aşkın couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Sezen Genç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acigöl JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merinos the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Acigöl JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Ediz Zakir to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Şemsettin Aşkın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Şemsettin Aşkın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şadi Mutlualp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Süleyman Durna came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Acigöl JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Süleyman Durna couldn't finish the play. If Baskın Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Haşim Candar's late challenge caught a Acigöl JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Haşim Candar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Ahmet Haşim Candar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Orhan Işıklar's late challenge caught a Merinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
