Resulhan Baltacı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeki Sidar having to interfere. Şafak Kocaalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdinç Hatemoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Kadiköy defense, Resulhan Baltacı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeki Sidar. The Kadiköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeki Sidar should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of ASİLKAN BJK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kadiköy:s goal. Ahmet Kağan Demirman shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 23rd minute, Reşat İlcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Evren Atacan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kadiköy and the ASİLKAN BJK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kadiköy getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Evren Atacan hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, ASİLKAN BJK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reşat İlcan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Erdinç Hatemoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reşat İlcan in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Şafak Kocaalp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Özmen Korhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASİLKAN BJK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özmen Korhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeki Sidar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeki Sidar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Görkem Irgat's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erdinç Hatemoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Kadiköy's Zeki Sidar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özmen Korhan in the 51st minute of play. Şafak Kocaalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdinç Hatemoğlu in the 55th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Erdinç Hatemoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erdinç Hatemoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şafak Kocaalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reşat İlcan in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reşat İlcan in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şafak Kocaalp saved ASİLKAN BJK from getting behind. A collision led to Kadiköy getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tolga Onkal hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Reşat İlcan put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Şafak Kocaalp. After a rather tough play, Kadiköy's Ferdi Doğanten got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Reşat İlcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şafak Kocaalp was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reşat İlcan in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şafak Kocaalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Kadiköy booed when ASİLKAN BJK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Deniz Emekli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şafak Kocaalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yasin Vacip's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Kadiköy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
